In recent weeks, the Korean manufacturer Scorpion has worked to develop its range of motorcycle helmets to bring them into compliance with the new ECE R 22.06 regulations. But the brand does not intend to stop there for its next collection and thus provides four new models, including the integral ADF-9000 Air.
With the ADF-9000 Air, Scorpion intends to enter the high-end trail helmet segment and thus employs all its resources to achieve this.
The helmet is made in an Ultra-TCT fiber shell available in three sizes associated with a multiple density shell. The interior, removable and washable, is always lined with Kwikwick3 fabric, grooves to facilitate the passage of glasses as well as its Airfit system which allows the cheek pads to be inflated to adjust the helmet to its morphology.
The large, clear main screen is anti-scratch treated and comes with its Pinlock MaxVision anti-fog film. In addition to the Speedview sun visor, the helmet also comes with a smoked visor. The ADF-9000 Air also features a complete ventilation system including air intakes on the forehead and chin bar as well as extractors on the back.
And because a “trail” helmet must present an adventurous look, Scorpion has equipped it with a removable cap. The latter also uses the Exolon technology of the VX-22 Air motocross bike. Finally, the support is provided by a titanium double-D buckle chinstrap.
Available in three plain colors and through two decorative patterns, the Scorpion ADF-9000 Air full-face helmet will be available from December from 399.90 euros.
