Cruiser Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition

A limited Edition Of 25 Units Based On The SG650 Concept

A production model expected by early 2024

At present, Royal Enfield is making headlines with the unveiling of its trail Himalayan, which has already been tested, and the introduction of new Aurora color schemes for the Meteor 350. Adding to the excitement, the Chennai-based manufacturer has revealed a neo-retro motorcycle deeply influenced by custom culture: the Shotgun 650.

Observers may recall Royal Enfield’s SG650 Concept cruiser unveiled two years ago. Drawing extensive inspiration from this neo-retro custom with futuristic touches, the Indian brand has developed a fully functional model.

Unveiled at the Motoverse event held in Goa, India, the Shotgun 650 is built on the 650cc platform used in the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor.

However, this is not (yet) a production model; this is indeed the Shotgun 650 ‘Motoverse Edition,’ limited to just 25 units. Apart from its notably modern equipment featuring numerous aluminum parts and a modular design allowing conversion from a single to a two-seater version, the Shotgun stands out for its custom hand-painted finish. Each of the 25 units boasts a unique handcrafted paint job with intricate details and a distinct gradient.

Bad news for Royal Enfield enthusiasts: all 25 units of the Motoverse Edition have already been sold at the Indian festival. However, Royal Enfield has confirmed that a standard version of the Shotgun will be available in international markets by early 2024, with pricing details set to be announced soon.
