The Vintage Model Meets the ECE R22.06 Standard

Three years ago, the Japanese helmet manufacturer Arai entered the vintage segment by marketing its Concept-X full-face helmet. Retro in style, the headgear remained faithful to the habits of the equipment manufacturer with a protective model.

For 2023, the model is evolving towards more security. In appearance, it is not easy to differentiate the two models. This is normal, because they are almost identical in every way.

A major feature differentiates them, because the Concept-XE is now certified under the ECE R22-06 standard and therefore promises increased protection, particularly in terms of rotational shocks.

The PB e-clc composite fiber shell retains its very round shape and its look reminiscent of the motorcycle helmets of the 1980s. The Concept-XE is also equipped with a ventilation system with internal channels, a VAS V screen Max equipped with a Pinlock Maxvision anti-fog lens or even a removable and washable interior associated with the FCS systems which improve soundproofing and ERS for the emergency removal of foam.

Still available in three shell sizes, the Arai Concept-XE full-face features the different colors of its predecessor and gains a new React pattern available in two variants.
